RIDING HOLIDAY WITH YOUR HORSE
Enjoy the gentle hills and beech woodlands of the forests on your own horse, hack through to the Forest Of Dean or down into the Wye Valley, we can provide you with route guides, pack or pub lunch for day rides or if you wish to travel further we can arrange for you to ride on from The Old Rectory to other destinations and then returning to The Old Rectory (2, 3 or 4 day packages)– we will then bring your bags etc on for you.

TRAINING WITH YOUR HORSE AT LOCAL BHS APPROVED CENTRE
Base yourselves at The Old rectory for Training with some of the best – Visit Severnvale equestrian Centre for lessons or courses with FBHS Lizzel Winter, Event Rider and Badminton Course Designer Eric Winter or resident coaches. Severnvale is only 2 miles from the Old Rectory.

HUNTING HOLIDAY PACKAGE
If you want some more excitement how about a days hunting (on your own horse) with one of the many hunts within a 30 – 90 minute drive, these include such packs as the Curre and Llangibby, Monmouthshire, Berkeley, Cotswold, Cotswold Vale, Ledbury and South Hereford. You arrive with your horse and your kit the evening prior to your day we will take care of your horse whilst you enjoy a sumptuous dinner and then in the morning after a Full English breakfast you load up your horse that is ready for your day and off you go. On return your horse will be cared for and you can enjoy a long soak and dinner.

Or follow the Woolaston Bassets on foot, the hounds are kennelled at The Old Rectory and you can enjoy a weekend following this new Basset Pack formed in 2014 by the Master Norman Matthews.
